Bishopstown House, Moate
A fully-restored and renovated Georgian mansion with a rich history, Bshopstown combines an old world setting with he best in modern, eco-friendly features. In 2006, the house was personally chosen by Michael Jackson (who was recording at the nearby Grouse Lodge)to be his Irish estate. Sadly, the King of Pop never got to see the finished house, buy now you can.
Bishopstown features five spacious double bedrooms and one treble, all of which feature king-sized four poster beds. There is two large sitting rooms, a dining room, five modern bathrooms, traditional Georgian country kitchen with back scullery, two outdoor patios and a splendid fourth floor roof terrace offering outstanding views. The equestrian yard features a bar and relaxaion area, function room and stables. Horseriding lessons can be arranged and guests have fulll use of the leisure facilities at Grouse Lodge. The House is ideal for groups, families and friends in search of a memorable break in the heart parties, activity breaks, team-building events, retreats, workshops and residential courses and much more.
