Fairymount Farm
This family run, organic farm has wonderful walking trails with spectacular views and natural wildlife. These walks take you past untouched archaeological sites (ring forts, a fulachta fiadh and a crannog) on through pastures, new forestry, woodlands, and an old oak wood and down to a private 25 acre lake. Walk to the top of their 700ft hilltop of Knockshegowna; with panoramic views overlooking seven counties of unspoilt countryside- magical! Fairymount farm also offers superb 4 star self catering accommodations situated on their 460 acre organic farm. Fairymount is a spacious, self-contained, luxury house adjoining our farm house and faces south. Oakwood is a luxurious cottage situated beside our oak wood and near our private lake. The Old Cottage is over 200 years old. This Old Cottage has been renovated to the highest standard of comfort while at the same time retaining the main features and the naturalness of it's original character.
