Mount Temple Golf & Country Club
Mount Temple is a traditional Irish Championship golf course. It lies in the heart of Ireland and is renowned for its large links type greens and undulating fairways.
The club is located just a short distance from Athlone, the capital of the midlands. Sitting on an esker based site gives the course the advantage of being playable all year round. The course was "built by God, polished by man" and affords great views from the course of over 75 miles.
This traditional Championship Golf Course was shaped to facilitate all golfers needs. The clubhouse evolved from the old farmhouse and farmyard buildings and is very unique in style. The course itself presents a superb challenge to the discerning golfer and is an experience not to be missed.

Mount Temple golf & Country Club is situated in one of the smallest villages in the heart of Ireland.
Because of its location, just over an hour from Dublin, it is an ideal golf haven just off teh M6 motorway to the west, coming off at either junction 6 or 7, and ten minutes from Athlone, the capital of the heart of Ireland

Golfers €1,000 Hole in One at the 1st par 3 at Mt. Temple Golf Club For February, March and April
Any players male/female carrying GUI/ILGU cards are invited to compete in a hole in one competition on the 1st hole, included in our monthly Singles Stableford Motte & Bailey Competition. The €1,000 prize will be divided if there is more than one hole in one over the 3 month period, at the par 3 first hole which measures 176 yards.

The prize for the Winner of the Motte & Bailey Singles Stableford Monthly competition is an excellent dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine included, at the Motte & Bailey Restaurant, Mount Temple. All of the above competitions are included on the green fees.
