Boat Trip:
Enjoy a 1 hour boat trip on board the 50 seated passenger boat "The River Queen". Choose the option of departing from Shannonbridge to Clonmacnoise or vice versa. Take in the spectacular natural beauty of the Shannon waterway and the chance to view Clonmacnoise, Europe's mostly highly regarded monastic site, by river. Commentary on board provided by our friendly captain.
Clonmacnoise:
A wonderful chance to visit the monastic site of Clonmacnoise. The rich and varied history is recounted in an audiovisual presentation (20 min.) shown in the visitor centre. Book a guided tour (30 min) whilst viewing the many ruins that exist of early Christianity. Explore and learn about this fascinating early Christian settlement and its many violent and destructive periods in its history.

Enjoy lunch before or after your cruise at Supermac's in Shannonbridge and choose from the tasty meals below:
